Exacticide is going GREEN
Pesticides are designed for one purpose: to kill. Both the active agents of most pesticide products and the solvents in which they are dissolved pose health hazards to you, your customers and their pets.
An IPM (Integrated Pest Management) approach to solve pest problems is essential for the health and safety of all. And has proven to be more effective in the long run.
Step 1: Observe pest populations. Monitor and record their activities. Accurate identification helps, it let’s us take advantage of scientific understanding of the pests behavior. We can then use the habits of our specific invaders as a weapon against them. Monitoring gives us insight into how pests enter the structures, where the infestation physically is and is not, and if there are other controllable factors involved.
Step 2: Prevent pests from thriving. Deprive them access to food, water, and shelter by using what you learned in step one. Simple strategies, like fixing plumbing leaks, sealing cracks in walls and floors, and eliminating access to all food.
Step3: Pesticide application, Non-toxins, moderate toxins, IPM calls for us to exhaust all nontoxic options before resorting to more dangerous solutions. Alternatives include biological control, which take advantage of pest predators, and physical controls, such as traps, baits and sticky tape. Only if non-toxic approaches do not solve the problem does IPM call for the use of toxins, beginning with the least toxic and employing more toxic options only as a last resort.
The Exacticide applicator is a vital component in your IPM program. The majority of non-toxic to moderate toxic pesticides available today are sold in the form of Dust (powders) and granules. The Exacticide allows for accurate and controlled applications of these compounds, while introducing a very professional approach and
appearance. Your IPM program and the “Exacticide Applicator” will build customer confidence in your company.
Your pesticide supplier can give you a list of available dust and granule that fit the above criteria.
